Tea For Two by Username : SarahMargaretWrites (A Wattpad Review)

I just recently finished reading this book and by just finished I mean it is 4:29 in the morning. Insane I know but I know I'm crazy so why change it? Contrary to what you may think I will not be gushing over a fantastic love story. Nope. I will be gushing over a unique love story. Tea For Two is a story about a bisexual girl named August who happens to fall in love with her new ginger neighbor Emily. While getting to know Emily she finds out that Emily is lesbian and plays baseball. August has always been alone in a sense. She never really had friends before Emily came along and with Emily came a whole group of boys whom she's known her whole life. Funny she thinks she has known those boys forever but never talked to them and they soon become super close. Of course Emily and August go out and fall deep in love. This is not a story where the girls are constantly heated for each other like so many gross books out there. Its a natural love story about a scared southern girl who can't be who she wants to be and finds people who finally understand her for her. She lets people in and through out the story tries to avoid her gossping, strict, old crow of a mother and a douchebag homophobe named Jake Seller. I like this book for so many reasons. One being its two characters are gay, Two being it shows you the emotions an LGBT person goes through while struggling with their sexuality. This book conveyed the fact that gay people should be treated normal, because it doesnt matter what your sexuality is , it shouldn't matter. Just like what political views you have or what skin color you are just because it may be different doesnt mean its wrong. You get glimpses of disapproval and glimpses of an I dont care attitude. This book isnt what you would call your "normal" love story but who cares! Society has come such a long way because I can see the number of positive feedback this story has gotten and it makes my heart swell. I loved reading August's story of love, revenge, friendship, growth, heart break and so much more. I hope to see more stories like this being written. This is a read for those of you who are stuggling with your sexuality, need a good read, or are in the mood for an emotional rollercoaster ride.

Love Always,
